  23. Your initialization has &k3 which is already set by DEFAULT.
  24. On the internet, it is nice to add %c2, which turns on v42bis
  25. compression.  This speeds up the transfer of web pages a whole lot.
  26. HTML files or web pages are text, so the v42bis algorithm can easily
  27. compress text.

  36. Yes, all internals, or at least most already, come with 16550 uart.
  37. If you have an external Zoom modem, and don't have a 16550 uart, you
  38. can buy a serial board with 16550 uart on it.

  42. Try PGP v2.63a, the USA version is not compiled, you have to do it
  43. yourself.  If you have an ANSI C compiler, this should not be hard.

  52. That depends.  Anything is possible, unless you have the S210 register
  53. limit the symbol rate of the modem or you have the AT+MS command
  54. limit the speed.
